Dog Sledding in Kiruna
Kiruna, located in the northernmost part of Sweden, is a city that transforms into a true winter wonderland during the coldest months of the year. The city is situated in Norrbotten County, near the borders of Norway and Finland. Kiruna municipality is known for its vast areas where reindeer husbandry, mining, and nature-based industries coexist. Kiruna is home to the world’s largest underground iron ore mine, which is currently causing us to relocate Kiruna City to allow for the mine’s expansion. Join us on a journey through our beautiful winter landscape.
Perfect winter conditions
Kiruna’s unique geographical location makes it an ideal destination for winter enthusiasts and adventurers. The area is characterized by stunning natural surroundings, with majestic mountains, vast forests, and countless frozen lakes surrounding the city. This provides visitors with numerous opportunities for outdoor activities such as dog sledding, snowmobiling, ice fishing, skiing, and ice skating on the pristine lakes. To make the most of it all, we have put together a five-day tour package that includes ice fishing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and, of course, dog sledding. Learn more about our multi-tour here.
